Edward was born in 1832.  Edward's father was Joseph KEMP and his mother was Esther (Amelia) SKEY.  His paternal grandparents were John KEMP and Unknown.  He had three brothers and three sisters, named Edward, John, William, Esther, Mary and Amelia.  He was the fifth oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 4 in October 1836.
