Martha was born on October 7th, 1897 in Nathalia, Victoria, Australia.  Martha's father was John MITCHELL and her mother was Ellen AMOR.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Quick MITCHELL and Jane JENNINGS; her maternal grandparents were William AMOR and Ann Priscilla WHEELER. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Henry, Frederick, Elizabeth, Ellen and Rebecca.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 85 on March 16th, 1983 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.  She was buried in Preston Cemetary, P11673.
